1.Progress Test 1 Results came back. Didn't do too well. But managed to passed all three papers. Progress Test 2 just over recently. I really think i will fail .Seriously. No joke. Owh well. Extra motivation for me to study hard for my UPCOMING Mock Exam end of this month. Sigh. Cheers, classmates !
2. One of my ex-high school friend, Jeremy Ng Yen Han, flew to UK already. Yeap. He finished his SAM in Taylors recently and went over to UK to do Accounting & Finance. Didn't get to send him off at the airport though cos i was having exams that time. Sigh. Went out with him and a few other ex-high school friends to have a farewell for this dude. Had a long drive to Look Out Point, Ampang.
Its restaurant located on the side of the hill, with a view of almost the entire city of KL. And the view was exceptionally eye-catching at night when all the lights were like little candles shining in their respective places. KL Twin tower rocks too ! OWH ! Did i mention that the view was much MUCH better when the moon is shining bright with stars dancing around it ? Hahaha.. Too bad la i don't have a digital camera. All i had was my camera phone. Hahaha. Pictures taken are by the pro- Jeremy.

I had my share of fun of catching up with my high school friends as well as to bid this friend of mine a good bye. Jeremy, i will always keep you in prayers ! You still rock, bro ! Make sure you come back only. If not, i go UK fry you. Hahahah.. jk jk.. XD

4. As some of you may recall, i mentioned before that i was on a break. Yea, its over. Didn't really meet the goals i set for myself. But to come to think of it, some parts of myself which i thought i don't have an issue with, have been revealed over those weeks. Yea. Umm, won't reveal much bout it here la. Sorry.
I actually planned for my break to end just in time for the topic of Communion to be preached on a Sunday, which was last Sunday. But due to last minute stuff, it didn't happen. My break was over. But i haven't settled the Communion Issue yet. Which i hope i will.
5. Visited YPF one of the previous weeks. The message delivered on that day was sort of what i need la. I thank God i went that Saturday. Met with some of the girls there whom i haven't met in ages ! Tirzah and Hannah - my gosh ! These girls have grown ! Kui Ling and Eunice whom i met bout a week prior to that day. Hahaha.. There's others as well. Mark ol Mark is still as funny and lame as ever.. Hahaha.. I miss those people la.. really.. Hmm.. wondering where Li Ling and Hui Xian went ? Heh
6. Yup, after 3 long months, i had a haircut again. Last week. This time, shorter. Some said i look the same. Some said i look different. But all in all, SHORT HAIR ROCKS ! The old was still okay.. but the length of it was irritating me.. So had to cut it.. Also cutting it for the Graduation last Saturday.
7. Graduation. AHA ! To those who have the pictures for that night, can send some to me ? ? Thank you all a million ! No la.. i haven't graduate from ACCA yet.. Wahh ! If i graduate from ACCA, one of my dreams come true lor.. Hahaha.. My friends and I graduated from CAT - Certified Accouting Technician. All of us had to wear formal and yeap yeap, it was my first time attending a graduation and wearing a robe. Sorry again, since i don't have a digicam, had to rely on friends to snap pictures. Hahaha.. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN !! Woohoo ! I had fun la. But the food was err.. definitely not worth the amount of Ka Ching we paid. But the company was awesome..
Owh we had our F5 Progress Test 2 on Saturday morning.. Had to rush home to prepare for the graduation in the afternoon. We were all told to meet up by 3pm but Wei Ping was still busy getting dressed (longer than a girl).. so, we arrived late. With the heels i'm wearing.. I HAVE NEVER FELT MY FEET SO NUMB AND PAINFUL BEFORE ! Worst than having to step on a nail. Walk 5 metres, stop. Another 4 metres, stop. Wei Ping even said, " Next time, i better not find a girlfriend who wears high heels. Must ban her from wearing high heels.. if i walk 10 minutes later than you also, i reach faster than you.. ". Yes, its true. THE HEELS KILLS !
I so appreciate flat shoes and sport shoes now. Owh ! We " Yam Seng-ed" with Soya Bean Drink. Hahaha..

8. The accident. The first time people bang me car. And i almost got cheated if not for my wonderful friends. Here's the story.
On Sept 30 - Tuesday, class finished early. 10.30am. Eliza was with me. I parked outside the college, or rather beside it. It was a TWO LANE ONE WAY ROAD. My car was already OUT, took up one lane already, getting ready to turn right when the traffic is clear. [ I don't reverse out because i did a reverse parking that day, like any normal days ]
Since it is a ONE WAY STREET, i only look out for vehicles coming from the left side only la. When it was already clear and i was turning into the road, this MOTORCYCLIST came from the right side, which was obviously the wrong side of the road lor. It was a one way road and it is still a one way road.
He came quite fast, thats why there's a loud bang and somehow ( i dunno how ) he landed in front of my car with his bike on top of him. He was lying there.
The sight scared everything out of me ! Thought he was unconsious or something. But when my another friend, Edwin witness it, he rushed over to help to guy because he's a Red Cresent Society member. Khar En was with me as well. Eli and i got out of my car. I was scared and shocked and a lot of things were running in me mind. The first thing that came to my mind was "Did i kill someone" .
Thankfully i didn't. But i was still scared and shocked. Cried. The guy - an old indian man - got up n started saying things like," Why you ?! Why you... ?!?! I was going straight !! Why you.. ?!? "
His left feet was bleeding a little. I offered to take him to the hospital or the clinic since Sunway Hospital is around the corner. He rejected. In the middle of the road when all the cars were lining up till the end of the road, he is standing there "negotiating" with us. I was still scared. He asked for money. RM10. I was still scared.
Was about to hand him the red note when Eliza and Edwin lined up in front of me. They didn't let me give it to him la. I am thankful for them. Not that i am selfish or what. But now when my sanity is back, i actually think that he is taking advantage of me. He said he works in Sunway College. I do hope i won't bump into him AT ALL.
My friends wanted to take this to the police station immediately but he refused.
I still insisted to take him to the clinic to treat his wound but he refused. I asked my friend, Edwin to treat his wound since he is a Red Cresent Member.. but he refused. He still insisted on money.
After a while, i think he got fed up n drove off. In a wrong direction again. This time, without his helmet.
The left side of my front bumper is cracked and was like hanging out. My number plate is GONE !
THANKFULLY, Eliza Khar En and Edwin stayed back to help me create a number plate out of a cardboard and tie that hanging piece of bumper into place so that i can actually drive home. Yea.
Some of my classmate stopped by to help out and i am thankful for them eventhough we've never really talked before. They ARE caring people.
Drove home very slow after that. My hands were shivering. Went home n prayed for that guy. Hopefully he's okay. A lot of sms-es came in. Some called. Thank you all for your care and concern and your credit. Thanks a million !
Wanted to take a nap that afternoon but i couldn't. Couldn't help to stop thinking of that old man. Was shaken la. But now, i'm better a lot. It was a rather small accident i think. But for a P driver, its pretty scary. Its only been a year that i'm driving and this happens. I'm quite worried of the next 6 months, 12 months etc etc.
Scared la. I am still scared of taking the wheels again. So, you won't see me driving these days. Forgive me.
Well, i have an advantage la. I can actually make a police report, he can't. Because he crushed my number plate. He don't know what's my car number plate. Eliza snapped a pic of that guy's number plate. Hahahah.. But didn't make police report la. Too much hassle to go through. This is the only thing left from my number plate. The rest was nowhere to be found. Crushed.
This left side was actually hanging out. A little at the bottom was cracked i think, but wasn't seriously cracked. The whole front bumper will be replaced. All my savings gone for people's mistake. Quite fed up lor. Nicely save up for an after-finals-outting with some church people but have to use it all for other's mistake. And he can still ask money from me. Quite crappy lor.
9. Last but not least, i just discovered who are REAL friends and who are TOTAL FAKE. Yes. These fake people thought i don't know what they say behind my back but now i know who they really are.
*silence* i will say no further. Because i chose to obey what my pastor warned some of us. Which is not to use our blogs as our personal diaries where all our emotions are poured out and displayed. I respect my blog readers. So i won't blog about it. Some of you will probably know what i'm talking about.
10. The End. Mock Exam coming soon ! Thank you so much for reading this entry, if you did.
YES ! After the two weeks of absence, yours truly sudah mari. This will be yet another long long entry, so bear with me. There's pictures, don't worry. haha. As a student
CAT EXAM RESULTS WERE OUT LAST LAST MONDAY !! WOOHOO!! The release time was 12pm. Friends and myself skipped F5 class which was from 11.30am - 2.30pm. No, i am not being a very obedient person. HAHA ! Josh is the only person who can really really panic and freak out like literally freak out..but the rest of the guys were accompanying him in many rounds of Chor Tai Dee (which i DON'T KNOW how to play). Don't laugh. Some were playing computer games and some were staring at other people playing games (me).
Cut long story short, all of us passed all the papers. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Was estatic for the next couple of hours. Hahhahaha... For more details, please click here.
Went out with friends to Pyramid for lunch..to CELEBRATE ! YAY ! Had Carl's Junior. Shared with Mei Kim. If you're my classmate who's been with me for lunch and breakfast everyday, you will know how much i eat. But in Carl's Junior, i shared. Because i cannot finish !!! Plus, mom bought lunch at home adi. Have to go home for 2nd round of lunch. I am a pig. Below are some pictures.
The whole gang at Carl's Junior

Dearest Eliza and Hui Yan
Darren with his pony tail... (hint, hint, my royalty for the publication of artistic work. will be given exemption wan.)
Chin Fei.. and THAT look which i don't know how to describe..Lol. Zi Wen, whats the best way to describe him ? XD Went home early and did this in my journal for that day's devotion. Hahaha...God is good la. Really. He's been showing His faithfulness so many times in so many ways.
As a reward to my own self, i bought this.. its expensive lor for a correction tape.. ! 6 bucks.. I'm jaga-ing my cash spendings. Tried surviving on 2 digit figure in three weeks. It worked for first 2 weeks. Then 3rd week, blew my budget. Hahaha.
But passing the CAT exams doesn't bring all good out of it. It means we have to start studying REAL HARD for our first progress test, which ended TODAY ! WOOHOO !! YES ! *don't ask me how did i do*
Congratulations to those who didn't got selected for NS ! Congratulations to those who got World Prize ! Congratulations to those who got through CAT and our first Progress Test! As a Follower...
If you noticed at my 2nd chat box on the right column, i did mention that i am on break. Hahaha. Yea, it started last Sunday. Today's Day No. 6. Need a break la. Although my weeks and the things that i do doesn't amount to the things which some busier people have to do, i still need my break la. To put a coma at serving in church and focus more on my personal growth ? Yeah. Coma.Pause.
Have been looking forward for the break, have been saying "i can't wait till the end of August" so many times since more than 1 month ago. Sundays have been one of the most tiring day almost every week. Whats worst is when the whole week's tiredness is slowly carried forward to the following days, Sunday is THE DAY i have my breakdowns la. Which i did have. Twice i think. Hahaha. Owh, did i mention. We have 6 hours of tax classes on certain Saturdays.
Break is good. My first time taking it. I don't know what to expect and what to achieve exactly. But from the advices i hear from friends and experienced people, i made a move to set certain goals to achieve in this period of 1 month. Wrote them down in my journal. My NEW journal ! WOOHOO !! ( started journalling beginning this year and i just finished my 1st book. i'm not a dedicated writer, u see ) I've set goals also to prevent myself from focusing on OTHER things other than Him.
There are certain issues that i CAN finally settle in this course of one month. And in this time, i can actually have more reflection on my spiritual growth up to date and i've been praying that He will twist and turn my life upside down ( or in any way He wants ) in order for me to grow more than i usual do. That He'll show me my weak spots and correct them or teach me. And reflect on what i am actually pursuing currently. Works ( ie serving and all that) or Him. I call it DRILLS. Yea.. So far, it's been all good and challenging. But good.
Oh ! Don't get me wrong ! Youth Church is doing good.. everything has been good in church. No one is killing me. Everyone is good and kind and beautiful as always ! *smiles* They're still doing the series of Apologetics. Bible classes started two weeks ago. Point Of Difference Camp (YC + TSF) is this weekend actually. But i chose not to go. Have my own reasons la.
Owh ! God blesses us in miraculous ways, u know ? See....
Mei Kim suddenly bought me this highliter. I was amazed when i first saw this highliter last Saturday in class, but it wasnt mine. Was telling her that this is one of the oldest Pilot Highliter which can last very long and its good la. Then few days later, she gave a brand new one for me. Psst ! My current highliter just passed away also. Co-incidentally, she gave me, on the right time. Been wanting to get one but on time. So yea. God blesses us in many ways.. Whee !
So much about my break.. lemme share about my FIRST DAY OF BREAK... Hence, the following part of this entry. Out of the Ordinary
My first day of break was out of the ordinary. It wasn't the usual go YC-oversee Form3Girls-pnw-bible class-leaders meeting-mamak if there's time-repeat same things for 2nd Service-help Gloria count offering-say bye bye-go home Sunday. Went to FGA Kajang for a visit with beautiful Cheras-ians(Eunice, Kui Ling, Joseph and Alvin). Rocking place. Rocking people.
Arrived early la. Sat in their humble place, the Main Service. I cannot forget the praise and worship session. Singing songs that are not usually sung in YC..songs that are simple but brings so much meaning to it ! It started off with a song which is normally sung either in school's CF or maybe in the Children's Church. I miss that song ! Hahaha.. Its "I love this family of God, so closely knitted into one.....". Yeah, its that song. Made me feel at home, although i am not at the usual place i'll be on Sundays. It really felt like you are part of this one big family where you're unfamiliar with everyone and everything.. Yeah, to know and read those words is one level, to experience it is another level.. Its so warm-welcoming-homey-feeling.. Dunno how else to describe it. Hahaha.. Worship session continued on as per normal. It still felt different la the whole day. The "GOOD" different.. *smiles*
Ps.Lee Hock Cheng from Mother Church came and spoke. It was a message on fastening ourselves to Him in times of trouble, building spiritual muscles. Not fastening ourselves to friends, articles, songs, music or any other form of thing that we think can replace Him. Read 1 Sam 30 : 1 - 6 with particular highlight on verse 6b.
Edit : Isn't it only in darkness that His light can shine through ? ( snapped this in my room in the middle of revision during the week )
The worship leader reminded me of my dad. Yeah. After everything was over ie pnw and sermon, there were refreshments served for EVERYONE ! YES, EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE !! Eunice was telling me about the hospitality in FGA Cheras-that it was a little different..and coming from some other place which has a whole different environment (ah ma church), HOSPITALITY TIME IN FGA KAJANG WAS WOAH ! Kay la, I was shy all. Hahaha.. saw their library. They even have a Children's playroom !!!! Aiyor ! The kids are so cute !!!
Hospitality for everyone.. ?!? The idea is simply wonderful ! It meant no one was excluded from fei-lor-ship and fellowship. Everyone can catch up with everyone's lives ! The kids, the youths, the adults.. !
I amazed at their servanthood spirit. They serve together, grow together and yeahh.. ! Its like a family. It IS a family ! Where young and old mix around regardless of their age. Hahaha.. It was good, good,GOOD ! Good food too, u know ? Yau Char Kuey all the way from.... *drum rolls* CHERAS !! Hahahaha.. Lots of food ! Enough for everyone !!
Met quite a number of youths during hospitality session. There's Joshua who played the drums, Ern Yik whom i noticed kept smiling all the way (i think his name is spelt this way), Eunice who is very matured for her age and a couple others. Hanged around with the Cheras-ians also since i don't know all of them. Hahaha.. It was good la. Really good. Not forgetting to mention, two of those i talked to were on their way in pursuing engineering. So many engineering peeps these days !!!!
After hospitality session, its time for YOUTH MEETING !! Yay ! There's Aunty Amelia who leads the youths of Kajang. She has a very very young heart, i tell you ! The youths of Kajang are blessed to have her.. They had a good time of discussion which i really enjoyed ! I actually had the time and opportunity to explore more the Bible with people around my age. Hahaha. Yes, its not a normal thing that i can experience on normal Sundays. I really really enjoyed it; to absorb, observe how people discect portions of the Bible, come up with lots of different views and questions about it, relate it to their experiences, share it and help other gain new knowledge ! It was a refreshing experience personally. Owh, forget to say that we discussed about Eve. Hahaha. Some guys were blaming Eve for the fall of mankind. But at the end of the day, it wasn't whose fault that sin came to earth la. Hor ? After the discussion, Alvin and Eunice prayed for them as well as for Aunty Amelia. Eunice read a portion of Scripture from Isaiah. Alvin sung the bridge of a song i never heard before.
"Chains be broken, Lives be healed, Eyes be opened, Christ is revealed "
You'll come by Brooke Fraser, Hillsongs United
These few words were stuck in my head for the next couple of days. You should listen to it. Ended the meeting with a prayer. Wanted to give Aunty Amelia a big hug but haha, shy. Some of us exchanged numbers to keep in touch. Hahaha. It was good. Really.
Went for lunch with the beautiful Cheras-ians. Had a more fei-lor-ship and fellowship. Lol. Being around these people, it made me feel comfortable. Like no stranger. Not because we heard of each other before or we said hi to each other before or because we can click well..but because we serve the same Mighty Loving God. A closely-knitted-together family.
It was a wonderful day. We went there to bless them and to encourage them. But at the end of the day, both parties were equally blessed one way or another.
I am blessed. Really thank Him for this opportunity to explore out of the ordinary environment. Who knows ? Maybe i'll see them again, both the Cheras-ians and Kajang-ians. Which i hope i will. Hahaha... Went home tired. Wrote a long long long part in my journal about it. Hahahaha..
I love my first day of break. I love the people i met. I love Him.
Lets see.. Went to bed yesterday evening at 5.30pm after doing some homework. Guess what ? I slept through until this morning ! YES ! SKIPPED DINNER ! WOOHOOOO !!! But of course kena marah by mom la this morning. Heh. Woke up this morning about 7am. Had good GOOD shower and started ironing clothes. Yea, ironing clothes is my responsibility at home. Once a week chore. But i've got one week load of clothes for 4 humans whose clothes (most of them) need ironing. So yea. Its a mountain high. Serious one. So yea lor. Was ironing clothes and this question just strike me out of nowhere.
"What if one day, just like any other normal day, you are involved in an accident which leaves your lower half of your body gone ? "
Then i started tearing. No, i'm not being emotional nor am i thinking too much. But yea la. Scared. Cos its like your whole life will then be turned upside down and doubts will of course start to pour in which will eventually lead to doubts about God's work in your life..yada yada... But this entry is not about that question. I'l blog about that another time. Yea, 2 hours in front of the ironing board, i locked myself in the room and did my devotion la.
Was reading Acts 17:11 Paul and Silas was sent by the believers to Berea. And the Bereans were eager to hear what Paul & Silas said and studied the Scriptures every day to find out if these things [ what Paul and Silas taught ] was true.
The Bereans were, I suppose, DESPERATE and CURIOUS because they were " eager to hear " and they "studied the Scriptures everyday ".
Its the Berean lifestyle that we should learn and live once we get to know Him.
With the grace and experience that we have in Him, we know that all these things that we say, we do, we believe, we hear, we reason with.. all of these are not just in our heads ! We know that its not our minds that made it up nor it is the imagination that we have. It's not the "I think" attitude that we have but the "I believe".
In Acts 9 : 17 - 23, Saul who was blind, now can see ! And the next few verses tells us that he went telling the people about Him.
Saul had the FIRST-HAND experience which enabled him to preach and with the proofs that he has, the people in Damascus could not argue with him !
We all know that the last few verses in Matthew calls us to spread the Good News around. But most of us, i believe, are clueless about this right ? Even i am ! But after reading that verses in Acts, i know now what i need to do before i could actually go on further into evangelism. I need to know what my FIRST-HAND experience is before even doing ANYTHING at all ! This includes serving and all that..
Read 2 Peter 1 : 16. They had their FIRST-HAND experience ! They ate, walked, talked, questioned, listened and did a whole lot of other stuff with Jesus HIMSELF ! They know that their first-hand experience is not a fake and they are not being lied to. They "saw the greatness of Jesus with their own eyes" !!!!
From the time when He was beaten, mocked at and carried the wooden cross that He has to be nailed to, they mourned for Him. And when He breathed His last breath, they went down on their knees and later took him down that wooden cross that evening. They were at despair at their death!
They then buried him in a tomb, covered the mouth of the tomb with a big rock and found nothing but white cloth used to wrap his body when they went to investigate what the women [ Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary Mother of James and other women ] had said to them three days later.
This is part of their first-hand story.
Do you have one ?
Ps: Preparing for sabbatical break. 10 days to go ! Woohoo ! In the mean time, i WILL refrain from logging into MSN. Gmail sudah cukup. Sms me if there's anything important. Pray for my missing keys and Darren Ong's teeth. His blog link is at the side of my blog. Toodles people !
Passion Intro #2 Shame Bearer. World Changer. He is here. Price Payer. Chain Breaker. Grave Ender.
The opening of Passion Kuala Lumpur was flashed with an astounding video in which part of it was phrases that spoke life through it ! God is love, people ! And love is here ! The night took off from there with Chris Tomlin leading us with a few praises, the first being "Let God Arise". The rest of the night made history.
"Come and see what He has done for us, And tell the world of His great love, Our God is our God who saves... Let God Arise... "
Picture this : God is standing in front, behind and beside you; Chris and Charlie and their team leading in praises; Voices from 4000 souls joined in ONEVOICE, ONECRY, ONEHEART, ONE PASSION; and you are THERE, whether or not the whole day's tiredness and first day of pms is eatting up your very last strength to jump and raise you hands, YOU JUMP and RAISE YOUR HANDS ANYWAY !!
Of course there's good music, good lightings, good air-cond, good company and all that, but none of these would even qualify in the race to "Top 3 Reasons to Praise Him" if ever there's such race. The only 3 reasons you would wanna praise Him is because 1. You love Him. 2. He loves You. 3. I don't think there's a number three reason because two reasons are good enough.
I must admit that last Sunday, 3rd August 2008 was a superbly tiring day for yours truly but I was really excited about YC and Passion that I can't sleep early the night before. 3 hours of sleep but good enough if compared to those who didn't sleep at all. I couldn't do much on Saturday because my mind was occupied about what's gonna happen the next day.
I'll just share a lil on what Ps. Andy Yeoh spoke if you would bear with
me because I know you are anxious to hear about Passion as much as I am ! YC was good. Ps. Andy Yeoh came, stirred joy with his hilarious jokes and spoke LIFE with the words that He gave. Many stood up for altar call. God is amazing, really ! He spoke about how our lives are given and is a set-up for God to SHOW UP and SHOW OFF ! John 9: 1 - 12 I was reminded that when we take that step of faith, things happen ! And you can only exercise faith when things aren't in place. If everything is laid out on the table for you, how can la God ever be real in your life ? How can faith be real then ? Truth vs Real. Truth is truth; whether we believe it or not. But 'Real' is when we EXPERIENCE truth. And it leads to distinction between God-Chasers and Not-God-Chasers. [ i don't know how else to word it ] Truth itself does not change lives but when it is experienced and APPLIED, there's that 180 degrees U-TURN in your life.
Back to Passion.
Louie Giglio camp up can spoke a lil. He made it clear that that night was all about "Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will COME AGAIN". It was the last two words that stood out since this known truth haven't been in mind lately.
I went to Passion with a heart that is expectant of Him. I know He will be there because He is omnipresent ! But I told Him that I want to feel Him that night because I don't wanna feel distant from Him. But it didn't felt right at the end of the day. It shouldn't matter whether or not I can feel Him or I can't. All that mattered was whether I believe la.
And if you wanna know what 4000 youths from in and outside Malaysia can do in a hall on a Sunday Night, i'll say "pray". Yup yup! 4000 youths prayed with the same passion that night. We broke into groups of three, started welcoming Him in prayer etc. 4000 voices became one. Yi. Satu. The number shrunk [ 4000 to 1 ] but the power multiplied !
With the voices crying out, souls being touched, lives being changed, frozen hearts melted, blind eyes see, there was what only one word i can think of and that is "Revival". A beautiful one. I'm sure we shook the whole mall when young energetic people jumped to the beat of each song. Best of all, I think believe we shook KL and the Heaven lor. Hahahahahahahahahha.....
PnW continued for awhile more and Louie came up to share on Grace. And Grace is what i need. Another thing that slapped me right there in the face. piiakk !
Isaiah 26 : 8 But Lord, we are waiting for your way of justice. Our souls want to remember you and your name. 2 Corinthians 5 : 21 Christ had no sin, but God made him become sinso that in Christ we could become right with God.
This IS the grace that we're talking about ! Grace is what God can do that we human fellas cannot do for ourselves. And all we need to do is just to say, "Yes, Lord". These two words will then open a thousand doors. Obedience is what people like us need to do to experience / receive grace. When one died for all, those who lived should not live for themselves. God was reconciling the world with Christ, not counting in the wrongs of men against them. He became sin, who knew no sin. That we might become His righteousness. He humbed himself and carried the cross. This is the love that is so amazing !
Do you understand UNDERSTAND what that actually meant ?!?!
"There is no one like our God, There is no one like our God. Greater things are yet to come Greater things are still to be done in this city" God of This City by Chris Tomlin
Go download this song. Or msn me to give you the song. Its a song that you should really listen to.
The lyrics just said it all la. I don't need to explain any further. The only thing that came across my mind was OUR COUNTRY when this song was sung two nights ago. I was re-affirmed that God is in control of Malaysia la. Not anyone else. There's something special for M'sia. There will be a change. I mean, look at our political environment right now ! With hot news almost everyday from the political world etc. You get what i mean la hor ?
Disclaimer : Ashley's story summed up might not be fully accurate because i'm typing out what i can remember that night. Mind you, my memory is blur n cha ! I know my version of Ashley's story is very superbly inaccurate. Please by all means, correct me ! Thank you.
Louie then read from a journal of a young girl named Ashley. A real journal. I'l sum it up la. Ashley was 22 years old. Her parents were divorced and she lived with her dad who believed that God did not exist. Her mom who is a Christian, married another Christian guy and had another child; thus her step brother. Her brother is a Christian as well. She grew up being the wild partying girl. Oh ! Did i mention that she's in a relationship with a guy, a non-believer of course, for two years and living with him. It was one fine day that she went home early and caught him cheating in front her with another girl. Of course she was heartbroken and kicked him out of the house. Hence, she put an ad to find a housemate because she didn't wanna live alone. Then came along this Christian girl, Krista* (i think her name is Krista, but if its not, Sorry!). Krista then moved in with Ashley. Ashley decribed her in her journal as a "fruitcake". She didn't know that Krista was praying for her ever since she moved in. One night, her ex-bf came over to apologise and all that and Ashley accepted him back. I think it was a few days later that she caught him cheating on her AGAIN. Then they both were no longer together. In the midst of her brokenness etc, she talked to Krista. Krista, thru her words and the way she lived (devotions, bible class etc), spoke into Ashley's life la. Krista let her watch two DVDs by Louie Giglio, "How Great is Our God" and "Indescribable". Thru these two DVDs, Ashley was more open to God's grace and love as she was once sure that God wouldn't love a big screwup like her. I can't really remember when she accepted Christ but she finally did. She even called her mom about it and her mom was delighted that she made this decision. Ashley also followed Krista to bible class. All of these incidents took place in the span of 2 weeks only. Praise God ! He does wonders that amazes us. Louie came to know about Ashley from Krista or her brother( either one, can't remember ) not long after she accepted Christ and her testimony was all over the net ( the Passion site, i think )
Her dad, to my surprise, didn't reject the fact that his daughter has changed after accepting Christ. He even thanked Louie about it throught e-mail ! Her dad called Ashley one day to tell her that he's gonna get her a BMW. This was a couple of days before her graduation. They did all the necessary things and yes, she got the new car. Some time later, her mom emailed Louie to inform him that Ashley had passed away. She met in an accident that night when she was driving home. She didn't make it for her graduation. She had only been a Christian for 3 months. In her funeral, they didn't mourn but they PRAISED God for what He has done in Ashley's life. Her dad didn't understand but was amazed at such response.
It was through GRACE that Ashley had a life with Him. Grace that is unexplainable. Grace that is sufficient enough for us. This is the story of Ashley. That touched many lives that night. And with this testimony, Louie asked the people are an "Ashley" to accept God grace and i believe many did. It was through grace that Ashley's life DID matter. We, humans, sometimes question how our lives can matter at the end of the day, what we can do to make it happen. The answer is that our lives WILL matter when we allow Him to USE us while we are here on earth. Our life will matter when we say "Yes, Lord" to His offer of grace.
We went into a time of worship again and it was still amazing. The night ended with a blast. You can actually see and feel the whole hall shaking when 4000 people who are hungry for Him jump and give their all. The night made history.
The Passion Team is still on their way around the globe to spread the passion around. Please keep them in prayers; their finances, health, preparations etc. KL is their 7th city. They have 10 more to go. His army is gonna rise up, not only from the places that Passion is going but also in the neighbouring countries as this fire, i believe, gonna be spread from the places they will be visiting. Manila was their 6th country. They raised $40 000 US to hold this Passion event in KL. And KL raised RM55000 ($15000 US) for Jakarta, the next place. Manila prayed for KL and KL turned out to be a blast. So, its our turn now to pray for Jakarta. That Jakarta will also have an incredible day to remember. That lives be changed and God will prevail there even though it is a Muslim country. Would you join me in prayer ? With or without the purple tag.

"His body the bread His blood the wine Broken and poured out all for love The whole earth trembled And the veil was torn" Jesus Messiah by Chris Tomlin
I can't think of a good ending for this entry. This entry shall not have an ending la then. Cause passion has no end right ? This mark in history has no end also right ? It's suppose to be an ongoing thing.
